Thiery was baptised on Sunday at the Uxbridge Road Tabernacle, his home church. Baptism doesn't save a person, it is just the way God gave us to show that a person is openly committed to God. The water symbolises being washed of sin, and beginning a new life, a life lived for God's Glory.
A bunch of us from the Youth Club were grateful to have been there for the service. Thiery shared his testimony, the story of how He was saved and how he now has a relationship with Jesus his Saviour. For those who couldn't make it to the service, here is Thiery's testimony.
